One of the last Christian areas in the Middle East. Thanks to the still mostly secular Egypt, Christian churches are allowed and the Coptic Christian community is strong, but still under attack.
The second church bombing in Egypt in six months means the ISIS terrorists and their sympathizers is growing, Egypt along with the rest of the Middle East will also be on fire.
Meanwhile, Egypt’s Al-Azhar, the highest Sunni Islamic authority in Egypt, issued a strongly worded statement condemning the attack.
“Terrorism hits Egypt again, this time on Palm Sunday. Another obnoxious but failed attempt against all Egyptians,” said the Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Abou Zaid.
Sunni's, other Muslims and the rest of Egypt know that after ISIS wipesout the Coptic Christian community, they're next.
